We build modern bamboo rods, for the fly fisherman pursuing ultimate perfection.

We are fishing-focused rod makers that take our hard earned lessons from the rivers, lakes and ocean back into the workshop to improve our tapers.

Our passion goes into making each of these 100% handcrafted rods, - hand tooled from Tonkin bamboo. Handles made from the highest quality Portuguese cork. Held together by handmade stainless steel ferrules and finally wrapped with the finest silk wrappings.

When you fish our rods you feel the knowledge, quest for perfection and elegance that’s gotten into making them, as they become an extension of your mind and with no or little effort will land the fly exactly where you plan it to.

The invisible factor

One cubic meter of air weighs 1.3 kg. In nature there is always an airflow, and one can easily imagine the sheer volume and weight – depending on how strong it is, it exceed on the line, rod, leader and fly. That’s why we have made a series of complementary rods to suit most modern fishing conditions.

1. Renforsen

6,8” 3/4 w. Crisp fast tip action, ultra light and with a cigar handle. Magnificent in mild wind conditions when you need your dry or wet fly to land with utmost precision with minimal effort. Cast easily plus 17m with exceptional precision. 

2. Cabra

7” 4/5 w. Our most sold rod. Fast tip action with half wells handle that’s perfectly adapted to most river and lake fishing in normal wind conditions. Wonderful for all types of dry flies, wet flies, nymphs and small streamers. Cast effortlessly plus 20 m with excellent precision.

3. Bergfors

8” 5/6 w. Fast tip action with a half wells handle when you need to target spooky fish where you need extra distance between you and the fish. Excellent in moderate breezy wind conditions. Wonderful for all types of dry flies, wet flies, nymphs and bigger streamers. Cast effortlessly plus 23 m with excellent precision.

4. Abisko

8” 7/8 w. Medium to fast tip action with full wells handle for those bigger fish where you need to cast big juicy streamers. Perfect in most wind conditions. Cast effortlessly plus 25 m with great precision.

Coming end 2024. Big Sur.

Coastal switch or spey two-handed 10-11” 7-9 Medium too fast tip action with modified full wells handle for coastal or river sea trout, or salmon fishing. Great for those breezy days or where lots of long casting is required to search a large body of water.

If there’s any damage to the rod on delivery or it has a mistake in it in any shape and form we will immediate take it back or fix what’s broken at no cost with no questions asked. Shipping is on us of course.

How to order

1. Easiest way is to send us a message and we can help you decide what rod would be ideal for you. Then when we come to an agreement regarding the model & taper we’ll give you an estimate of when you could expect the rod. We have a waiting list that fluctuates so don’t be afraid to contact us. At the moment we usually manage to make your rod during the same year if you order between November and February.

2. We post a current limited stockpile here of available rods, we even sell prototypes and experiments for a reduced price. But as we are most of the time sold-out as we make our rods per-order that will only happen once or twice a year. We will notify you here and on our other medias (Facebook, Instagram) prior to drops. You can also sign up to our newsletter regarding the rods.
